Debt and benefits advice, as well as advice on employment, housing and other issues which have a significant impact on financial health, form an essential part of the financial health landscape.
A key challenge we face as a sector is to ensure our service design, including our relationships with funders and partners, actively addresses the link between crisis and long term wellbeing. The Financial Health Exchange views advice as a tool for empowerment, as well as for advocacy.
We support advice providers to identify and use opportunities to empower and enable people to seek out and use advice to improve their own financial health and wider well-being. More information on this work will be available soon.
