Research on the unbanked

The Financial Health Exchange and Toynbee Hall are looking for people without bank accounts to take part in our national survey. We want to find out about people’s financial health in order to improve our work.

In particular we need to hear from:

  • People who are working (even if part-time/on zero hours etc) and are paid in cash/living on a low income – without a bank account
  • People without a bank account aged 18-25 or over 65.

The results will contribute to a section we are writing for the Lloyds Bank UK Consumer Digital Index on the lived experience of the unbanked population. All normal research standards apply, so no identifying personal details will be included in the work.
