‘Older old’ consumers and those living with disabilities

This study, funded by the Payments Council and undertaken by Toynbee Hall and Policis, assesses the experience of the ‘older old’, that is those aged over 80, and people living with a range of disabilities in accessing payment services. The study aims to understand the experience of these groups, to identify the specific barriers faced in use of payment services, the impact of these barriers, and the work around choices and coping strategies employed by the target groups in coping with the constraints and barriers.
